Alexander Interviewing Services was established in the early 1980’s by Mary Jo Alexander, with the business primarily being door-to-door interviews and product placements. In 1986, Joyce O’Shields joined Mary Jo to form Alexander & O'Shields Marketing Research. Mary Jo retired in 1992 and Betty Collins joined Joyce to form AOC Marketing Research, doing primarily mall intercepts. In 2006 Betty became President and sole owner and is actively involved in the operation of the company.
AOC has since grown to encompass a variety of research methods and has acquired the reputation of being a top field service in the Charlotte area.

Catina Melton, our Director of Operations, joined AOC in the early 1990’s. She has been involved with every aspect of field work and her commitment, leadership, and attention to detail is key to our success. In 2007 Cathleen Christopher joined AOC as Vice President and partner. Cathleen has executive experience with a variety of industries and brings new ideas and approaches to our day-to-day business. In early 2010, Mimi Rambo joined AOC as Executive Project Director. Formerly Focus Group Facility Manager of Marketwise, she brings over 20 years of project and facility management experience to AOC.
At AOC, we consider our staff an extension of our families. From our Project Directors to our part-time Recruiters, we strive to keep everyone informed, involved, and invested. Our experienced, flexible staff is committed to quality and service and is ready to implement your next project. |
